Nikolas M. Hake operates JUS Official Services, a business that presents itself as providing management, booking, touring, staffing, and other professional services to artists and entertainment-industry clients.
Individuals who have come forward say the financial fallout from their dealings with Hake and JUS owes over $100,000 in claimed outstanding obligations and losses, including unpaid wages, ticket-sale proceeds, performance fees, artist reimbursements, and fees and penalties associated with returned or insufficient-funds ACH payments.
But these aren't simply numbers on a spreadsheet. Individuals who say they worked for JUS have described serious consequences from wages they say they earned but did not receive. Their accounts include falling behind on child-support obligations and household payments, struggling to afford transportation, and even lacking enough money to purchase food for their families. Some say they made major employment and financial decisions based upon promised compensation and travel arrangements that never materialized.
Multiple individuals featured on this site also describe a similar pattern when they questioned payments, business decisions, contracts, or other representations made by Hake. They report receiving lengthy legal-style communications, threats of lawsuits or substantial financial damages, cease-and-desist demands, and other communications they personally viewed as attempts to intimidate or silence them.
Throughout these accounts, participants identify numerous statements and representations made by Nikolas Hake that they say were later contradicted by documents, financial records, communications, or subsequent events. JUS publicly presents itself as a Texas-founded business, but searches conducted by individuals involved in this matter have not located a business-entity registration under the name “JUS Official Services.” Anyone considering entering into a business relationship with JUS should independently verify its legal business status, any applicable assumed-name or EIN filings, and the legal identity of the party named in a contract before signing an agreement or sending money.
