A Vision Still Taking Shape

Everything in this journey—rediscovering music, forming a band, releasing independent records, and finding a home at the marina—has been pointing in the same direction. It is all leading toward the creation of Boat House Music Group. Not as a finished organization, but as a vision still taking shape through experience, community, and intention.

This is not the story of one artist building something alone. It is the story of momentum—earned slowly, shaped by real people, and guided by lessons learned along the way.

#BOATCREW Lifestyle

The #BOATCREW is the community that grew organically around the music. What began as listeners showing up to livestreams and shows quickly became something deeper. The #BOATCREW is made up of fans, artists, families, sailors, workers, dreamers, and creatives who share a common lifestyle and set of values.

They are people drawn to music rooted in faith, family, freedom, and fun—people who value time on the water, honest work, shared experiences, and living life with intention. The #BOATCREW isn’t a fan club in the traditional sense; it’s a community that actively shapes the journey.

Beyond encouragement and presence, the #BOATCREW also plays a critical role in financially supporting the movement—by attending shows, supporting releases, contributing to events, and investing in experiences that help the music, the artists, and the vision continue to grow. That support helps create opportunities for recording, performance, collaboration, and future development—without compromising independence or values.

The relationship is circular by design: The music inspires the #BOATCREW, the #BOATCREW supports and sustains the artists, and together they shape what comes next.

Community-Funded, Artist-Driven

Where Community Investment Fuels Creation

Boat House Music Group is being built through community involvement, volunteering, and crowdfunding—not by one individual with unlimited resources or by outside investors seeking control. The foundation of this movement is people giving their time, skills, energy, and financial support because they believe in what’s being created.

Members of the #BOATCREW contribute in many ways: volunteering at events, helping with logistics, spreading the word, supporting releases, and participating in crowdfunding efforts. That collective support allows artists to be compensated fairly for their time, creativity, and talent, while still maintaining independence and ownership of their work.

This model respects both sides of the relationship. Artists are valued for their craft, and the community plays an active role in making creation possible. Crowdfunding isn’t about buying influence—it’s about sharing responsibility so music, events, and opportunities can exist without relying on traditional industry gatekeepers.

By building this way, Boat House Music Group grows at the pace of its people. Decisions stay grounded in values, artists aren’t rushed or exploited, and the community remains connected to the music they help bring to life. It’s a slower path—but one built on trust, transparency, and shared purpose.

An Artist-Development Co-Op

Boat House Music Group is being shaped as an artist-development co-op, not a traditional label. The focus is on helping artists grow over time—creatively, professionally, and personally—rather than extracting value from finished products.

Artists who join the journey are encouraged to collaborate, share stages, write together, and learn from one another. Development happens in real time through live performance, audience connection, storytelling, and hands-on experience—not through rigid deals or top-down control. Each artist retains ownership of their music and creative direction while benefiting from shared resources, exposure, and community support.

This co-op approach creates space for artists who may not fit the traditional industry mold but thrive in an environment rooted in authenticity and lifestyle. Growth isn’t rushed, comparison isn’t rewarded, and success isn’t defined by charts alone—it’s measured by connection, sustainability, and shared progress.

Boat House Music Group exists to walk alongside artists as they find their voice, build confidence, and develop careers that align with who they are—not who the industry expects them to be.

Rooted in Place

Why Location Matters

From the beginning, this vision has been tied to a specific place. Not a generic venue or rented room, but a location that reflects the lifestyle, values, and stories behind the music. For Gulf Coast Country, place isn’t just a backdrop—it’s part of the sound.

That’s why the home of Creola and the surrounding marina matter. The water, the docks, the working boats, and the people who pass through create an environment that can’t be replicated in a traditional studio or club. It’s a setting that feels lived-in and real, mirroring the music itself.

The long-term vision is to let everything grow naturally from that place:

- starting with music and conversation from the deck of Creola

- expanding into a listening room overlooking the dock

- eventually adding a  recording space where artists come to create

- and gathering the community each year for the Boat House Music Festival

By keeping the movement rooted in one location, artists and fans grow together. The music reflects the place, the place shapes the culture, and the culture gives the music its identity. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is disconnected from where it comes from.

Boat House Music Group isn’t trying to be everywhere at once. It’s focused on building something meaningful in the right place first—and letting the movement grow outward from there.

Growing Together

One Step at a Time

Boat House Music Group is not chasing fast growth or instant scale. It is choosing to grow with intention, alongside the artists, the #BOATCREW community, and the place that gives the music its identity. Every step forward is meant to be shared—artist development, live experiences, new spaces, and new opportunities unfolding as the people involved grow together.

This movement is being built patiently. Songs inspire the community. The community supports the artists. The artists write more music. And together, they shape the next chapter—without shortcuts, without pressure, and without losing sight of why it started in the first place.

There is no finish line being rushed toward—only a direction. One rooted in faith, family, freedom, and fun. One grounded in real people, real places, and real stories. Boat House Music Group exists to give that direction a home and to invite others to help build it.

Together, the future of Gulf Coast Country will be written
