FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FREEPORT, TEXAS — Captain Matt and The Boatcrew has officially announced its separation from Veridian Management Group and the beginning of a strategic search for a new exclusive booking agency partnership as the organization continues expanding its 2026 Gulf Coast “Country” touring initiative and worldwide #BOATCREW Family movement.
Moving forward, Captain Matt and The Boatcrew will no longer operate under an exclusive booking relationship with Veridian Management Group. The band is now actively seeking the right long-term exclusive booking agency partnership capable of supporting the organization’s rapidly growing touring, media, sponsorship, and regional expansion goals.
“This next chapter requires a structure that allows us to move faster, build stronger direct relationships, and continue expanding the #BOATCREW Family worldwide,” said Captain Matt. “Our vision has always been bigger than simply booking isolated shows. We are building sustainable regional tour legs, strategic partnerships, community-driven events, and a long-term movement centered around Gulf Coast ‘Country’ culture and lifestyle.”
Captain Matt emphasized that the decision reflects a strategic operational shift focused on finding the right long-term partner to help guide the next phase of the band’s growth.
“This is not about slowing down,” Captain Matt added. “It is about finding the right long-term partnership that truly aligns with the direction, urgency, and scale of what Captain Matt and The Boatcrew is building. This movement we are building requires 100% buy-in from any partnership that chooses to be part of it.”
Captain Matt and The Boatcrew’s 2026 initiatives continue to include the “Music Built Together” fan-supported recording model, expanded touring throughout the Gulf Coast and beyond, the development of the Mobile Boat House Tour project, and the annual #BOATCREW Beach cleanup and community concert initiative scheduled for September 19.
Captain Matt and The Boatcrew’s music blends the perfect beach cocktail of Trop Rock, Texas Country, and Delta Blues from New Orleans — the kind of music meant for backyards, beaches, marinas, and boats across the Gulf Coast and beyond.
The organization is currently accepting conversations with booking agencies, promoters, and industry partners who believe they may be the right fit to help lead the next chapter of Captain Matt and The Boatcrew’s continued expansion efforts.
