RADIO HEARS IT FIRST
There is no greater feeling for a band than hearing their new song being played on the radio for the first time. Sadly, that experience has become something of a lost art in today’s modern streaming era.
Captain Matt and The Boatcrew are taking a different approach with the upcoming Boatcrew Paradise album, and as we travel from town to town on the Boatcrew Paradise Tour, we would love nothing more than to turn on the local radio station and hear one of our new songs coming through the speakers.
Before each new single reaches the major streaming and music platforms, we're giving terrestrial and online radio the first opportunity to hear it and play it.
We believe radio still matters. DJs and programmers have always played an important role in discovering new music and introducing it to listeners. Instead of releasing a song everywhere at once and then asking radio to play it, we want radio to have the opportunity to hear it first, play it first, and introduce it first.
During this advance radio period, listeners who discover the songs through participating stations can also purchase and download their own digital copies directly from Captain Matt and The Boatcrew.
